As I re read this book "Eating By The Light Of The Moon" this passage really resonated this morning.
Will any of us have the courage to be like the child in the Fairy tale “The Emperors New Clothes” I have had so many friends branded all kinds of things for asking questions. We all need to ask questions and keep asking them. There will also be two sides to everything and somewhere in the middle lies the truth. There will be experts on all sides with very different view points as a society we rarely look holistically and tend to focus on what’s right for one piece of the jigsaw puzzle. I usually try to ask the question what is to be gained or lost by this person in making the point they are making?
. I believe that usually brings me closer to the truth. Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the ones I can and the wisdom to know the difference. May we all find our voice.
