Embracing Health and Well-Being: The Jigsaw Puzzle of Life

For many years, I have discussed how health and well-being resemble a jigsaw puzzle. There are many different pieces that contribute to our wellness, as well as those that can lead to issues in the first place.


A Holistic Approach to Wellness


My approach to health and well-being explores the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of what might be affecting a person. Recently, I have gathered more evidence of how valuable this comprehensive approach can be. Some individuals prefer to focus solely on physical health, which is perfectly fine. When the time is right, they may choose to explore the other pieces of their wellness puzzle.


Over the past 20 years, I have integrated various tools, techniques, and practices into my support for clients. Sometimes, this means referring them to someone else, as I believe it can be an essential piece of their jigsaw puzzle.


Discovering Ancient Practices


Since 2022, I have been delving into ancient practices and traditions from these lands. I have come to know the term Crane Bag (Corr Bolg) and Bean Feasa, and I am eager to explore them further.


The Crane Bag/Corr Bolg was a bag that carried the tools of the Druids, items they used in their healing and ritual work. The Bean Feasa refers to a Medicine Woman or Woman of Knowledge. "The Irish Bean Feasa traditions are more akin to the Native medicine women and men of the American continent. The Bean Feasa had/has a place in Irish society as a healer, seer, guide, ceremonial facilitator, and connector to the land." Learn more about Bean Feasa. One of the most famous Bean Feasa is Biddy Early, and reading about her will surely bring a smile.


My Personal Corr Bolg


I have realized that both personally and with my clients, I possess my own Corr Bolg. It isn't physical like the Druids of the past; rather, it is a collection of therapies, tools, and beliefs that I have used over the past 20 years to support myself and my clients.

In the coming months, I will be offering Corr Bolg Wellness Coaching Sessions. During these sessions, we will examine what is happening physically, emotionally, and energetically in your life. We will explore how you can best support yourself to optimize your health and well-being by listening to the wisdom of your body. Together, we will create a plan and see what unfolds.
